Reading for Understanding.... Focus: Making Connections

Today marks the beginning of: Reading Comprehension Wednesdays. Students will be introduced to literature circles that will reflect on books that they have chosen to read. Every week, the students will have the chance to read on their own and/or with their teacher. Afterwards, they will pick two different jobs from the literature circle and submit their answers to their teacher electronically.

Today the students will be making an all about me Box. This box will be personalized and contain five items that best discribe what they are about. The task will include their first oral presentation of the school year.

How do I learn?


Today, we are going to look at how we learn. Each person learns information, behaviours and adaptations from all the different forms. After our checklist we will graph our answers into a visual representation of our strengths and weaknesses. Lets take a look at the different types of intelligences.
